AMSOIL Engine and Transmission Flush (FLSH) helps restore fuel economy, increase operating efficiency and reduce emissions in gasoline and diesel engines, and automatic transmissions. Its potent, detergent-based formula cleans sludge and deposit build-up, promoting lower operating temperatures and reduced oil consumption. AMSOIL Engine and Transmission Flush is safe on parts and can be easily disposed of with waste oil.
Restores Vehicles to Like-New
New engines and transmissions run more efficiently, but over time they gather harmful deposits that cause power and performance loss. Stop-and-go driving, prolonged idling, short trips that do not allow the engine to reach full operating temperature, towing, the ingestion of airborne dirt, fuel dilution, water condensation and oxidized oil all can promote sludge build-up in motor oil and transmission fluid. As it settles, sludge clogs narrow oil passages, restricting oil flow to vital parts, especially the upper valve train area.
In transmissions, deposits can form on clutch plates, causing hesitation and erratic shifting. Ultimately clutch glazing can set in, reducing the life of the transmission. Deposits in engines and transmissions can accelerate wear, causing power loss and increased fuel consumption.
• Cleans engines and transmissions for improved efficiency, fuel economy and lower emissions
• Prolongs equipment life
• Detergent-based formula more environmentally friendly
• Compatible with seals and gaskets
• One-treatment results
• Easily disposed of with waste oil
Installing new oil or transmission fluid into a dirty vehicle may not be enough to remove deposits and increase efficiency. The detergents and dispersants in some lubricants may not be able to handle leftover sludge and deposits, and the new lubricant soon becomes unfit for service, accelerating the formation of even more harmful deposits.
AMSOIL Engine and Transmission Flush Benefits
Unlike many flush products, AMSOIL Engine and Transmission Flush features a multi-use formulation that dissolves and disperses sludge, varnish and deposits in both engines and automatic transmissions. Due to its detergent-based formulation, used AMSOIL FLSH can be easily disposed of with waste oil, making it more user-friendly. Its advanced formula of light base oil technology, powerful detergents and dispersants provides safe cleaning action. AMSOIL FLSH is compatible with both petroleum and synthetic oils, preparing poorly maintained equipment for installation of new oil. It represents the first step toward restoring neglected equipment to top-notch performance. AMSOIL Engine and Transmission Flush provides the following benefits in only one treatment:
Gasoline and Diesel Engines
• Helps loosen sticky valves and rings, minimizing blow-by and reducing emissions
• Helps quiet lifter noise
• Promotes lower operating temperatures through sludge removal
• Easy disposal
Automatic Transmissions
• Cleans deposits in oil cooler and ports
• Helps unclog fluid passages
• Cleans deposits and varnish from clutch plates, helping improve efficiency
• Promotes smoother operation and transmission life through reduced shift delay
Applications
AMSOIL Engine and Transmission Flush is recommended for diesel and gasoline engines, and automatic transmissions. It is not recommended for CVT transmissions or differentials.
Directions for Use
Though it works in one treatment, AMSOIL Engine and Transmission Flush is safe enough to be used at every oil change. If using a flushing machine, follow the manufacturer’s recommendation. Otherwise, use the following guidelines:
Engine: Add 16 oz. bottle of AMSOIL Engine and Transmission Flush to engine oil fill port. Idle the engine for 10-15 minutes, then immediately drain the oil. Ensure enough time for the system to completely
drain. Remove and replace the engine oil filter. Refill engine with new engine oil in the viscosity grade recommended by the manufacturer.
Transmission: Engage emergency brake. Add 16 oz. bottle of AMSOIL Engine and Transmission Flush to transmission oil fill port. Idle for 10-15 minutes; shift through drive and reverse. Do NOT place vehicle under heavy load. Drain entire transmission and torque converter of fluid. FILTER MUST BE CHANGED prior to refilling with new transmission fluid.
NOTE: It is not recommended to flush transmissions that do not have a removable pan or access to the transmission filter.

In the last three years, AMSOIL has introduced more new products and made more technical advances than during any other period in the company’s storied 34-year history. AMSOIL now provides engine oils for nearly every application, multiple gear oils, greases, fuel additives and appearance products. To offer a more wellrounded selection of automotive products, AMSOIL also offers high quality products from other manufacturers such as Twin Air, Donaldson and WIX. Recently, AMSOIL’s focus has been on the filtration market. The recently launched Ea Filter line includes the finest filtration products in the world for the auto/light truck market, and Donaldson covers the heavy-duty market. To complement the Ea line of filters, AMSOIL now offers WIX filters, allowing one-stop shopping for automotive customers. AMSOIL carries over 700 WIX air, oil, fuel, racing and transmission filters for automotive and light truck applications.
A History of Excellence
WIX is well-known around the world for its innovative filtration
products for the automotive and light truck market. Founded in 1939,
the Gastonia, N.C., company earned acclaim during World War II when it
created an oil filter out of a paper tube, wooden plugs and yarn when
steel was in short supply. In 1954 WIX created the revolutionary
spin-on oil filter that was eventually adopted as original equipment on
most vehicles.
Today WIX manufactures some of the best oil, air, lube, cabin air, hydraulic, fuel, crank case breather and transmission filtration products on the market. The company is also widely known for its support of NASCAR.
Superior Construction
WIX oil filters have a full metal base
plate for superior strength at the
double seal. They also feature a silicone
anti-drainback valve that stays
flexible in extreme temperatures. This
improves oil flow and keeps oil in the filter to prevent dry
starts.
WIX oil filters use an up-front by-pass valve. This design is superior to top-mounted valves because it helps to keep oil from washing past dirty media and entering the engine. The glass-enhanced media in WIX oil filters offers greater efficiency, capturing more 10 to 12 micron sized particles than other cellulose/synthetic blend medias. They also have a coil steel spring to ensure internal filter parts are sealed properly.
WIX panel element air filters have a linear path through the filter for low airflow restriction, a specially formulated adhesive to form WIX’s exclusive pocket pleat for the filter media and a soft sealing urethane gasket molded in place on the filter element.
Radial air filters are constructed of mesh screen on the inside wall diameter for element strength and media protection from backfire. Each round filter is manufactured with heat-resistant plastisol with specially designed crush seals on the top and bottom walls and adhesive seal joining the media ends. Additional Filtration Products AMSOIL offers WIX filtration products for auto/light truck and racing applications. This includes not only standard air and oil filters, but fuel, transmission, cabin air and filters specially designed for racing as well.
Fuel Filters
WIX fuel filters provide unmatched fuel cleansing performance.
They prevent pump wear, injector clogging,
premature engine wear and help boost fuel efficiency.
WIX fuel filters offer quick, easy filter replacement, long
life and the possibility of extended service intervals.
WIX spin-on filters reduce the possibility of improperly
installed cover gaskets, and they provide effective,
easy draining of excess water on filters equipped with
the drain plug. The superior materials, design and construction
of WIX fuel filters provide excellent performance
under all types of operating conditions.
Transmission Filters
AMSOIL will also offer the full line of industry-leading
WIX transmission filters for passenger cars and light
trucks. WIX transmission filters provide superior protection
for many transmission applications in the
auto/light truck market.
Cabin Air Filters
AMSOIL now carries the entire WIX line of high-efficiency
cabin interior air filters for passenger cars and
light trucks. See Cabin Air Filter Installations (2MB PDF)
Additional Information
WIX filters are supplemental to AMSOIL Ea filters, but now AMSOIL will
offers WIX filtration products that cross to an Ea filter. With the
exception of WIX lube filters, all WIX filters should be changed in
accordance with original equipment manufacturer’s (OEM)
recommendations. WIX lube filter change intervals are extended OEM
recommendations to match the drain intervals of AMSOIL XL Motor oil. To
find the correct filter for your application, consult the Online Product Application
Guide.

AMSOIL Transmission fluid recommendations for Cars and Light Duty Trucks
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
AMSOIL Synthetic Fuel Efficient Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATL) is
engineered to exceed the requirements of GM, Ford and Toyota where
low-viscosity oil is required. The highly-specialized properties of
this light-bodied fluid provide outstanding performance without
compromising protection, even in severe operating conditions.
Automatic transmissions have become increasingly complex as vehicle manufacturers strive to improve efficiency while satisfying consumer demands. Smaller, smoother-shifting transmissions with longer fluid life capabilities and heavier load capacities are now standard. Traditional ATFs, however, are unable to meet these extreme requirements, and new fluids have emerged with each new advancement in transmission engineering. AMSOIL, with its original introduction of a synthetic ATF in 1980, remains the leader in transmission fluid quality. AMSOIL Synthetic Fuel Efficient Automatic Transmission Fluid is formulated with the highest-quality components to exceed the most stringent industry standards. The quality and performance of AMSOIL Synthetic ATF is guaranteed.
Fully Fortified
• Anti-wear/extreme-pressure agents—Extend gear life
• Durable friction modifiers—Anti-shudder
• Anti-oxidants—Extend fluid life
• Seal conditioners—Reduce leaks
• Detergents and dispersants—Keep clean and control deposits
• Corrosion inhibitors—Control rust
• Anti-foam agents—Improve hydraulic function
EXCEPTIONAL HOT- AND COLD-TEMPERATURE PERFORMANCE
Thermal Stability
– Hot temperatures are no excuse for poor reliability. Naturally
heat-resistant and heavily fortified with anti-oxidants, AMSOIL
Synthetic Fuel Efficient Automatic Transmission Fluid exceeds the most
demanding oxidation requirements. It delivers outstanding protection
against sludge and varnish deposits that clog narrow oil passages and
contribute to clutch glazing. AMSOIL Fuel Efficient ATF protects
hot-running transmissions.
Cold-Temperature Fluidity – Cold, thick automatic transmission fluid lengthens shift times and reduces energy efficiency (fuel economy). AMSOIL Synthetic Fuel Efficient ATF is wax-free and delivers extraordinary cold-flow per formance (<-60°F pour point). It helps improve shifting response and energy efficiency while reducing warm-up times.
OUTSTANDING WEAR PROTECTION
Varying speeds and loads causes torque multiplication and extreme
stress on gears and bearings. To prevent wear damage resulting from
insufficient fluid film, AMSOIL Synthetic Fuel Efficient ATF is
formulated with high film strength (shear stability) and a select
anti-wear/extreme-pressure additive that develops a boundary layer of
protection between metal surfaces. Even though AMSOIL Synthetic Fuel
Efficient Automatic Transmission Fluid is a low-viscosity,
fuel-efficient fluid, it has demonstrated its ability to protect as
well as or better than higher-viscosity fluids in the most severe
industry tests.
FRICTION DURABILITY
Today’s transmissions are smaller and must withstand
higher horsepower and torque while delivering smoother
shifts, all with longer fluid life recommendations.
AMSOIL Synthetic ATF is formulated with friction modifier
additives that deliver outstanding clutch-holding
capacity (static friction), torque-transfer ability (dynamic
friction) and anti-shudder properties (slipping torqueconverter
clutches).
EXTENDS FLUID SERVICE LIFE
Modern transmissions are smaller in design,
yet are called upon to deliver smoother
shifts and longer fluid-life capabilities
in higher-horsepower and higher-torque
conditions. AMSOIL placed great emphasis
on developing a fluid to effectively address
the complex demands related to
friction. AMSOIL Synthetic Fuel Efficient
Automatic Transmission Fluid delivers outstanding
clutch-holding capacity (static
friction), torque transfer ability (dynamic
friction) and anti-shudder properties (slipping
torque-converter clutches).
APPLICATIONS
AMSOIL Synthetic Fuel Efficient Automatic
Transmission Fluid is recommended
for automatic transmissions and other applications
requiring DEXRON® VI, MERCON® LV, SP or Toyota WS.
AMSOIL Synthetic Fuel Efficient Automatic Transmission Fluid is backward compatible and replaces DEXRON® III fluids in older GM automatic transmissions. (DEXRON® VI specification supersedes the obsolete DEXRON® III in GM vehicles.)
*Not for use with CVT or Ford Type F applications.
EXTENDED FLUID SERVICE LIFE
Most drivers are unaware that transmissions commonly
operate under severe service and require shorter fluid
drain intervals. AMSOIL Synthetic Fuel Efficient Automatic
Transmission Fluid is a long-life fluid capable of extended
service intervals. It provides an extra margin of protection,
especially when fluid change intervals are missed or during
heavy use; even during abuse. Drivers can count on
AMSOIL Fuel Efficient ATF to provide protection beyond
conventional fluids.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Off-Road Grease (GPOR1,
GPOR2) combines an over-based calcium-sulfonate
complex thickener and proprietary synthetic polymeric
technology to provide outstanding performance in heavy duty
off-road applications.
AMSOIL developed an exclusive synthetic polymeric system custom-built to provide performance benefits specific to off-road equipment. This synthetic technology helps give AMSOIL Off-Road Grease tenacious cling ability and maximum pound-out resistance over extended service intervals, even in wet environments.
EXTREME IMPACT RESISTANCE
Greased components in heavy equipment are subjected to
serious abuse. Virtually all heavy-duty off-road equipment
operates under heavy-load conditions. The extreme impact
common to off-road equipment forces all of that heavy load
(pressure) onto places where the equipment pivots, relying
on the grease to prevent metal-to-metal contact. Lesser quality
greases cannot withstand the load and are pounded
out of the impact area. When
pound-out occurs, heavily loaded
components are
left unlubricated, which
can result in metal-to-metal contact and
extreme amounts of wear.
AMSOIL Off-Road Grease’s exclusive synthetic polymeric technology provides exceptional adhesion (ability to cling to components) and cohesion (ability to cling to itself) properties. It is engineered to resist pound-out better than other greases in heavily-loaded, extreme-pressure applications and stay in place longer, providing outstanding lubrication over extended service intervals and reducing the detrimental effects of missed grease points.
5% Moly-Fortified to Meet CAT Requirements
AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Off-Road Grease
is heavily fortified with moly for maximum wear
protection to meet Caterpillar’s requirement for pin
and bushing applications. Its high Timken OK load and
excellent four-ball wear and four-ball weld test results
are proof of its exceptional load-bearing capacity.
Extended Service Life, Excellent Value
AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Off-Road Grease provides
serious severe-duty performance over extended service
intervals. It resists pound-out and significantly reduces the
amount of grease ejected during repetitive pounding action.
Field test results show that AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric
Off-Road Grease reduces grease consumption by up to
50 percent. That allows operators to either maintain their
current maintenance schedule and use up to 50 percent
less grease per application, or extend the length of time
between re-greasings by up to 50 percent. Its superior
pound-out resistance combined with extended service
intervals and superior protection result in reduced lubricant,
labor and equipment-replacement costs.
Excellent Water Washout Resistance
Greased components on heavy equipment are frequently
exposed to water. AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Off-Road
Grease resists water washout to maintain the external
seal on greased components and help prevent water and
other contaminants from entering wear-prone areas.
Calcium-Sulfonate Complex Thickener
AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Off-Road Grease features
a calcium-sulfonate complex thickener for enhanced
extreme-pressure performance. Calcium-sulfonate
complex is the ideal thickener for off-road grease. Its
inherent extreme-pressure benefits deliver excellent
impact resistance.
APPLICATIONS
AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Off-Road Grease is ideal for
heavy-duty, heavy-load-bearing applications operating in
the adverse conditions found in agricultural, construction,
landscaping, logging and mining environments.
Applications include power shovels, drag lines, wheel and
track loaders, excavators, bulldozers, skid steers, dump
trucks and other heavy-duty equipment with heavily-loaded
pivot pins, king pins, bucket pins and bushings.
AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Off-Road Grease is a perfect
choice for Caterpillar equipment requiring 5 percent moly
for pin and bushing applications. AMSOIL Off-Road
Grease provides superior performance, protection and
longevity in heavy-duty, off-road applications.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Off-Road Grease (GPOR1,
GPOR2) combines an over-based calcium-sulfonate
complex thickener and proprietary synthetic polymeric
technology to provide outstanding performance in heavy duty
off-road applications.
AMSOIL developed an exclusive synthetic polymeric system custom-built to provide performance benefits specific to off-road equipment. This synthetic technology helps give AMSOIL Off-Road Grease tenacious cling ability and maximum pound-out resistance over extended service intervals, even in wet environments.
EXTREME IMPACT RESISTANCE
Greased components in heavy equipment are subjected to
serious abuse. Virtually all heavy-duty off-road equipment
operates under heavy-load conditions. The extreme impact
common to off-road equipment forces all of that heavy load
(pressure) onto places where the equipment pivots, relying
on the grease to prevent metal-to-metal contact. Lesser quality
greases cannot withstand the load and are pounded
out of the impact area. When
pound-out occurs, heavily loaded
components are
left unlubricated, which
can result in metal-to-metal contact and
extreme amounts of wear.
AMSOIL Off-Road Grease’s exclusive synthetic polymeric technology provides exceptional adhesion (ability to cling to components) and cohesion (ability to cling to itself) properties. It is engineered to resist pound-out better than other greases in heavily-loaded, extreme-pressure applications and stay in place longer, providing outstanding lubrication over extended service intervals and reducing the detrimental effects of missed grease points.
5% Moly-Fortified to Meet CAT Requirements
AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Off-Road Grease
is heavily fortified with moly for maximum wear
protection to meet Caterpillar’s requirement for pin
and bushing applications. Its high Timken OK load and
excellent four-ball wear and four-ball weld test results
are proof of its exceptional load-bearing capacity.
Extended Service Life, Excellent Value
AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Off-Road Grease provides
serious severe-duty performance over extended service
intervals. It resists pound-out and significantly reduces the
amount of grease ejected during repetitive pounding action.
Field test results show that AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric
Off-Road Grease reduces grease consumption by up to
50 percent. That allows operators to either maintain their
current maintenance schedule and use up to 50 percent
less grease per application, or extend the length of time
between re-greasings by up to 50 percent. Its superior
pound-out resistance combined with extended service
intervals and superior protection result in reduced lubricant,
labor and equipment-replacement costs.
Excellent Water Washout Resistance
Greased components on heavy equipment are frequently
exposed to water. AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Off-Road
Grease resists water washout to maintain the external
seal on greased components and help prevent water and
other contaminants from entering wear-prone areas.
Calcium-Sulfonate Complex Thickener
AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Off-Road Grease features
a calcium-sulfonate complex thickener for enhanced
extreme-pressure performance. Calcium-sulfonate
complex is the ideal thickener for off-road grease. Its
inherent extreme-pressure benefits deliver excellent
impact resistance.
APPLICATIONS
AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Off-Road Grease is ideal for
heavy-duty, heavy-load-bearing applications operating in
the adverse conditions found in agricultural, construction,
landscaping, logging and mining environments.
Applications include power shovels, drag lines, wheel and
track loaders, excavators, bulldozers, skid steers, dump
trucks and other heavy-duty equipment with heavily-loaded
pivot pins, king pins, bucket pins and bushings.
AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Off-Road Grease is a perfect
choice for Caterpillar equipment requiring 5 percent moly
for pin and bushing applications. AMSOIL Off-Road
Grease provides superior performance, protection and
longevity in heavy-duty, off-road applications.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Ea By-Pass Oil Filter (EaBP) provides the best possible filtration
protection against wear and oil degradation. Working in conjunction with
the engine’s full-flow oil filter, the AMSOIL Ea By-Pass Filter operates
by filtering oil on a “partial-flow” basis. It draws approximately 10 percent
of the oil pump’s capacity at any one time and traps the extremely
small, wear-causing contaminants that full-flow filters can’t remove. The
AMSOIL Ea Bypass Filter typically filters all the oil in the system several
times an hour, so the engine continuously receives analytically clean oil.

New Aluminum Billet Oil Fill and Oil Filter Caps for BMK21 By-Pass Filtration System
Engine compartments are becoming increasingly cramped, leaving little room for after-market additions and improvements. The BMK21 is a single remote by-pass filter system that fits into much smaller spaces than the AMSOIL Dual-Remote By-Pass System.
Ford 6.0L Power Stroke™ Diesels
Dodge 5.9L/6.7L Cummins Diesels
General Motors 6.6L Duramax Diesels The Sandwich adapter is an anodized billet aluminum adapter that screws on to the present full flow oil filter nipple located on the engine block. The full flow filter is then simply spun on to the adapter. The Sandwich adapter has an orifice to provide high-pressure oil feed for the BMK21. Like the other diesel applications, AMSOIL now offers an Aluminum Billet Oil Filler Cap for (BK1202) to ease the installation of the oil flow from the BMK11 back to the engine. To complete an installation, the following components must be purchased separately:
|
Higher Efficiency
AMSOIL EaBP Filters have an efficiency of 98.7 percent at two
microns. At normal operating RPMs the EaBP Filter will filter all of
the oil in a typical five quart sump in less than 10 minutes.
Superior Construction
The superior construction of AMSOIL EaBP Filters provides better sealing
and increased longevity along with superior corrosion resistance.
AMSOIL EaBP Filters have a marine powder coated exterior; and
their zinc-dichromate base plates increase rust protection. EaBP
Filters have a nitrile HNBR gasket and an orange silicone anti-drain
valve. The two stage pleated and layered cellulose/full synthetic
media has an efficiency rating of 98.7 percent at two microns.
Longer Lasting
When used in conjunction with AMSOIL motor oil and an AMSOIL EaO
or Donaldson Endurance™ filter, the EaBP should be changed every
other full-flow filter change up to 60,000 miles. When used with
other brands of motor oil or full-flow filters, the EaBP Filter should
be changed every other full-flow filter change. AMSOIL recommends
using oil analysis when extending oil drain intervals.
Increased Oil Capacity
The increased fluid system capacity and filtration
life provides improved oil cooling and ensures that
equipment constantly runs on clean oil. Engine efficiency
is increased, providing extended engine life.
Soot Removal
AMSOIL has designed a high-efficiency
by-pass filter element that is also a soot removal
device. AMSOIL Ea By-Pass Filters use a synthetic/cellulose sandwiched media. The inner
layer of the element is composed of a highly efficient
cellulose media covered with a full synthetic
media outer layer. These filters remove 39 percent
of soot contaminants less than one micron.
Soot removal efficiency increases approximately
10 to 14 percent when the EaBP Filter is used in conjunction with a standard full-flow filter.
