PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Truck, Chassis and Equipment Grease (GPTR1, GPTR2) delivers excellent wear protection and extreme-pressure performance over extended service intervals in medium- and heavy-duty applications. It combines select base oils, proprietary synthetic polymeric chemistry, an advanced additive package and a lithium-complex thickener for excellent impact resistance, reliable contaminant control and maximum longevity.
Extreme Impact Resistance
Greasable components on heavy-duty trucks and equipment regularly operate in severe-service, extreme-pressure environments. Frequent high-load operation increases the potential for grease to pound out, which can leave components vulnerable to increased wear and corrosion. AMSOIL Truck, Chassis and Equipment Grease is formulated to deliver maximum pound-out resistance. Its exceptional adhesion and cohesion properties help keep the grease in place to seal out water and contaminants and provide a protective barrier between metal components.
Long Service Life
Most trucking companies work to maximize the amount of time tractors are on the road, and inferior greases are not engineered to perform over extended service intervals. The long intervals truckers demand can result in components being left unprotected because the grease has squeezed out of place. AMSOIL Truck, Chassis and Equipment Grease is engineered to remain intact for maximum protection over extended service intervals. Owners/operators can be assured their equipment is protected when the job demands additional time on the road between maintenance checks.
Superior Rust and Corrosion Protection
Over-the-road trucks and commercial equipment operate in all types of weather. Water, snow and ice are encountered regularly, and they combine with salt and other road-deicing chemicals to promote accelerated rust and corrosion on chassis and fifth-wheel components. AMSOIL Truck, Chassis and Equipment Grease clings tenaciously to metal surfaces, helping to keep rain, snow and other corrosive contaminants from penetrating greasable components. It is formulated with an advanced additive package designed to combat the harmful effects of roadway contaminants, helping components last longer and saving fleets money.
Maximum Extreme-Pressure Protection
AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Truck, Chassis and Equipment Grease is engineered for maximum protection in extreme-pressure applications. It features a sophisticated additive package and exclusive synthetic polymeric technology designed to provide long-term protection for heavily loaded components. AMSOIL Truck, Chassis and Equipment Grease’s high Timken OK Load and excellent Four-Ball Weld Test results prove its superior performance in extreme-pressure environments.
Ideal for Fleets
AMSOIL Truck, Chassis and Equipment Grease is ideal for mixed fleets that operate in severe service. It provides exceptional protection and long service life for a broad range of applications.
Cost-Effective Choice
AMSOIL Truck, Chassis and Equipment Grease offers enhanced protection for extended component life, reducing replacement costs. In addition, its long service life reduces the need for frequent re-application (or requires less grease at each servicing), reducing maintenance costs.
Reduced Environmental Impact
Less-tenacious greases are ejected from greased components and pollute the surrounding environment. AMSOIL Truck, Chassis and Equipment Grease is formulated to stay in place for long service intervals, resulting in less grease pollution and reduced grease consumption. In addition, AMSOIL Truck, Chassis and Equipment Grease is formulated without the use of barium, chlorine, antimony or sulfur, which are all potentially harmful to the environment.
APPLICATIONS
AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Truck, Chassis and Equipment Grease is recommended for heavy-duty over-the-road tractors and trailers, delivery fleets, dump trucks, refuse haulers, utility fleets, emergency service vehicles, sewer and septic trucks, snow removal vehicles, wreckers, municipal service vehicles, equipment haulers, cement mixer trucks, airport support vehicles and more.
AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Grease provides exceptional performance in heavily loaded chassis grease points, wheel bearings, axle assemblies, universal joints, pivot pins, fifth-wheel hitch plates, steering linkages, spring pins, king pins, ball joints, water pump bearings and other greased heavy-duty components.
COMPATIBILITY
AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Truck, Chassis and Equipment Grease is compatible with many other types of grease. However, it is recommended that when changing greases, the equipment be cleaned of the old grease or flushed with a liberal amount of AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Grease while the mechanism is in operation. Closely monitor the system for any inconsistencies. Any grease compatibility questions should be referred to your AMSOIL Dealer or AMSOIL INC.
*Note: AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Grease is designed to remain in place for long service intervals. The same properties that provide its enhanced tenacity can also make it harder to pump. A heavy follower plate may be necessary when pumping grease from larger package sizes. AMSOIL Truck, Chassis and Equipment Grease is not recommended for automatic or centralized lubrication systems unless the system is designed to pump a tackier grease.

Donaldson
Filters
AMSOIL is now introducing the P-Series of Donaldson
filters to complement the Endurance line. The
expanded offering of filtration products features
many applications that differ from, and several
that coincide with the Endurance line. Donaldson
P-Series filters offer premium filtration at
a competitive price. AMSOIL now stocks all of
Donaldson's most popular filter applications.
Donaldson P-Series Lube Filters (order)
Increased
engine emissions control and tighter tolerances
within the engine require high efficiency filters.
Donaldson P-Series filters are constructed with full synthetic or synthetic blend media for high efficiency. The media is embedded deeper into the sealing plastisol than conventional filters, allowing better sealing longevity. The lube filter can is constructed of heavy gauge steel, with many models having domed tops that provide superior pressure fatigue performance. The center tube allows more flow without compromising strength, and the louvered design eliminates tearing during pleat movement. The can and base plate are I assembled using a fully tucked seam, roll-formed threads, a nitrile sealing gasket and a compression spring holding all the components in place within the filter.
Donaldson P-Series
Air Filters (order)
Donaldson air
filter media is made up of specially formulated
fibers designed to trap contaminants such as
dust, dirt and soot before they reach the engine.
The media is pleated to maximize the filter
surface area and placed between rigid liners
to provide stability and. support. A high quality
filter seal is applied or built-in to the open
end of the filter to prevent dirty air from
bypassing the filter. Donaldson has developed
an extensive range of air filter media to provide
the best engine protection no matter what the
operating conditions. For example, using the
same particle size contaminant, for every eight
grams of dirt passed through a Luber-finer filter,
the Donaldson filter passed only two grams.
Coolant Filters (order)
Donaldson coolant filters are designed to maintain
the proper chemical balance and reduce contaminants
in the engine cooling system. AMSOIL offers
a complete line of Donaldson filters with supplemental
coolant additive (SCA) technology for the majority
of heavy-duty diesel engines service requirements.
SCA's are
chemicals in the filter that are released into
the coolant as it passes through. SCA's help
resist corrosion and cavitation in the engine
(Note: Although there is no need for SCA's when
using AMSOIL Antifreeze & Coolant, the use
of Donaldson Heavy Duty Filters along with AMSOIL
Antifreeze & Coolant will not affect performance.).
The heavy-duty construction works in a wide
variety of operating environments. Donaldson
filters feature heavy-duty thread plates, seals
designed for extreme cold and heat, durable
filter media and a unique center tube that increases
flow and adds structural strength.
Fuel Filters (order)
Today's engines are built to more stringent
specifications and finer tolerances. Fuel systems,
pumps and injectors require cleaner fuel to
achieve better combustion and lower emissions.
AMSOIL carries Donaldson's full line of replacement
fuel filters, featuring the latest advances
in filter media that makes the difference between
engine power and engine problems.
Hydraulic Filters (order)
Donaldson also develops, manufactures, and markets
a full line of hydraulic filters for the protection
of machinery and components in hundreds of applications—in
the factory and on heavy duty-mobile equipment.
In fact, Donaldson is considered the world leader
in hydraulic filtration.

In the last three years, AMSOIL has introduced more new products and made more technical advances than during any other period in the company’s storied 34-year history. AMSOIL now provides engine oils for nearly every application, multiple gear oils, greases, fuel additives and appearance products. To offer a more wellrounded selection of automotive products, AMSOIL also offers high quality products from other manufacturers such as Twin Air, Donaldson and WIX. Recently, AMSOIL’s focus has been on the filtration market. The recently launched Ea Filter line includes the finest filtration products in the world for the auto/light truck market, and Donaldson covers the heavy-duty market. To complement the Ea line of filters, AMSOIL now offers WIX filters, allowing one-stop shopping for automotive customers. AMSOIL carries over 700 WIX air, oil, fuel, racing and transmission filters for automotive and light truck applications.
A History of Excellence
WIX is well-known around the world for its innovative filtration
products for the automotive and light truck market. Founded in 1939,
the Gastonia, N.C., company earned acclaim during World War II when it
created an oil filter out of a paper tube, wooden plugs and yarn when
steel was in short supply. In 1954 WIX created the revolutionary
spin-on oil filter that was eventually adopted as original equipment on
most vehicles.
Today WIX manufactures some of the best oil, air, lube, cabin air, hydraulic, fuel, crank case breather and transmission filtration products on the market. The company is also widely known for its support of NASCAR.
Superior Construction
WIX oil filters have a full metal base
plate for superior strength at the
double seal. They also feature a silicone
anti-drainback valve that stays
flexible in extreme temperatures. This
improves oil flow and keeps oil in the filter to prevent dry
starts.
WIX oil filters use an up-front by-pass valve. This design is superior to top-mounted valves because it helps to keep oil from washing past dirty media and entering the engine. The glass-enhanced media in WIX oil filters offers greater efficiency, capturing more 10 to 12 micron sized particles than other cellulose/synthetic blend medias. They also have a coil steel spring to ensure internal filter parts are sealed properly.
WIX panel element air filters have a linear path through the filter for low airflow restriction, a specially formulated adhesive to form WIX’s exclusive pocket pleat for the filter media and a soft sealing urethane gasket molded in place on the filter element.
Radial air filters are constructed of mesh screen on the inside wall diameter for element strength and media protection from backfire. Each round filter is manufactured with heat-resistant plastisol with specially designed crush seals on the top and bottom walls and adhesive seal joining the media ends. Additional Filtration Products AMSOIL offers WIX filtration products for auto/light truck and racing applications. This includes not only standard air and oil filters, but fuel, transmission, cabin air and filters specially designed for racing as well.
Fuel Filters
WIX fuel filters provide unmatched fuel cleansing performance.
They prevent pump wear, injector clogging,
premature engine wear and help boost fuel efficiency.
WIX fuel filters offer quick, easy filter replacement, long
life and the possibility of extended service intervals.
WIX spin-on filters reduce the possibility of improperly
installed cover gaskets, and they provide effective,
easy draining of excess water on filters equipped with
the drain plug. The superior materials, design and construction
of WIX fuel filters provide excellent performance
under all types of operating conditions.
Transmission Filters
AMSOIL will also offer the full line of industry-leading
WIX transmission filters for passenger cars and light
trucks. WIX transmission filters provide superior protection
for many transmission applications in the
auto/light truck market.
Cabin Air Filters
AMSOIL now carries the entire WIX line of high-efficiency
cabin interior air filters for passenger cars and
light trucks. See Cabin Air Filter Installations (2MB PDF)
Additional Information
WIX filters are supplemental to AMSOIL Ea filters, but now AMSOIL will
offers WIX filtration products that cross to an Ea filter. With the
exception of WIX lube filters, all WIX filters should be changed in
accordance with original equipment manufacturer’s (OEM)
recommendations. WIX lube filter change intervals are extended OEM
recommendations to match the drain intervals of AMSOIL XL Motor oil. To
find the correct filter for your application, consult the Online Product Application
Guide.
WIX Racing Filters
AMSOIL is carrying WIX racing filters in addition to
filters for more common automotive and light truck
applications. WIX has been a part of racing and
NASCAR for many years, both as a sponsor and in
the race cars. The company’s long-standing relationship
with NASCAR not only demonstrates that
WIX filters are high-quality products, but it also
shows WIX’s dedication to racing, making it a perfect
match for AMSOIL.
Richard Petty began using WIX filters in 1967, winning six NASCAR championships with the help of WIX filtration technology. Currently, WIX filters are used on more than 20 Sprint Cup cars, including those of two-time champion Tony Stewart and 2007 Raybestos Rookie of the Year Juan Pablo Montoya. WIX is also an associate sponsor of Joe Gibbs Racing and maintains a partnership with Toyota Racing Development (TRD).
WIX racing filters are specially designed for racing applications and are not intended for normal driving applications. AMSOIL will carry all WIX racing filters, which includes 10 oil, 14 air and 2 fuel filters.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
AMSOIL Synthetic AW Series Antiwear Hydraulic Oils are
shear-stable, long-life lubricants based on high-quality
synthetic oil technology. These oils are formulated with
a premium additive system that inhibits oxidation to
help prevent acid formation and viscosity increase and
inhibit rust and foam (providing smooth hydraulic
operation). AW Oils contain a very effective zinc-based
anti-wear/antioxidant additive which controls wear in
high-speed, high-pressure vane and gear pumps while
meeting the lubrication requirements of axial piston
pumps with bronze-on-steel metallurgy. AW Oils meet the
requirements for Maximum Efficiency Hydraulic Fluid
(mehf) and can lower costs and/or increase productivity
in mobile equipment by 6 to 15 percent. Improved pump
efficiency can increase hydraulic power, reduce fuel
consumption and improve productivity. AW Oils are
designed for long life and typically reduce maintenance
costs by extending drain intervals and reducing labor
costs, repairs and downtime.
AMSOIL Synthetic Base Oil Technology
AMSOIL synthetic base oils resist thermal and oxidative breakdown and
work to prevent carbon and varnish deposits. The very high viscosity
indices, low pour points and lack of paraffins (wax) make these good
all-season lubricants well suited for high and low temperature
extremes. At high temperatures and pressures, AW Oils provide a good
lubricating film and protect components against wear. During
cold-temperature operation, equipment starts easier and the need for
preheating with sump heaters is reduced. The AW Series base oils also
readily separate from water, preventing oil/water emulsions that
inhibit lubrication and allowing for longer lubricant life and easier
water drainage from the sump.
Performance Features
• Extended oil drain intervals
• Antiwear protection for high-pressure systems
• Recommended for gear, vane and piston pumps
• Contain rust, oxidation and foam inhibitors
• Designed for extreme temperature operations
• Hydrolytically stable and readily separates from water
• Improves mobile equipment efficiency (mehf)
Application Recommendation
The correct viscosity grades of AMSOIL Synthetic AW
Series Antiwear Hydraulic Oils are recommended for
high- and low-pressure gear, vane and piston stationary
and mobile hydraulic systems. They meet the performance
requirements of all major hydraulic manufacturers
and are excellent for general purpose use where
extended drain intervals are desired and in severe duty
operations where temperature extremes are encountered.
Because they are light-bodied and possess very
good cold-temperature properties, AWF and AWG are the
preferred choices for temperatures below -20°F.
Some applications include machine tools and presses, mobile construction equipment, farming equipment, logging trucks, boom trucks and plastic injection molding machines. The appropriate viscosity grades of AW Oils are also suitable for use in pneumatic tools and spindles.
AMSOIL AW Series Oils are compatible with hydraulic system seals, petroleum hydraulic oils and most synthetic hydraulic oils*. For optimum performance, it is recommended the system be thoroughly drained and, if warranted, cleaned prior to installation. Oil analysis is recommended to maximize oil drain intervals.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
AMSOIL Synthetic AW Series Antiwear Hydraulic Oils are
shear-stable, long-life lubricants based on high-quality
synthetic oil technology. These oils are formulated with
a premium additive system that inhibits oxidation to
help prevent acid formation and viscosity increase and
inhibit rust and foam (providing smooth hydraulic
operation). AW Oils contain a very effective zinc-based
anti-wear/antioxidant additive which controls wear in
high-speed, high-pressure vane and gear pumps while
meeting the lubrication requirements of axial piston
pumps with bronze-on-steel metallurgy. AW Oils meet the
requirements for Maximum Efficiency Hydraulic Fluid
(mehf) and can lower costs and/or increase productivity
in mobile equipment by 6 to 15 percent. Improved pump
efficiency can increase hydraulic power, reduce fuel
consumption and improve productivity. AW Oils are
designed for long life and typically reduce maintenance
costs by extending drain intervals and reducing labor
costs, repairs and downtime.
AMSOIL Synthetic Base Oil Technology
AMSOIL synthetic base oils resist thermal and oxidative breakdown and
work to prevent carbon and varnish deposits. The very high viscosity
indices, low pour points and lack of paraffins (wax) make these good
all-season lubricants well suited for high and low temperature
extremes. At high temperatures and pressures, AW Oils provide a good
lubricating film and protect components against wear. During
cold-temperature operation, equipment starts easier and the need for
preheating with sump heaters is reduced. The AW Series base oils also
readily separate from water, preventing oil/water emulsions that
inhibit lubrication and allowing for longer lubricant life and easier
water drainage from the sump.
Performance Features
• Extended oil drain intervals
• Antiwear protection for high-pressure systems
• Recommended for gear, vane and piston pumps
• Contain rust, oxidation and foam inhibitors
• Designed for extreme temperature operations
• Hydrolytically stable and readily separates from water
• Improves mobile equipment efficiency (mehf)
Application Recommendation
The correct viscosity grades of AMSOIL Synthetic AW
Series Antiwear Hydraulic Oils are recommended for
high- and low-pressure gear, vane and piston stationary
and mobile hydraulic systems. They meet the performance
requirements of all major hydraulic manufacturers
and are excellent for general purpose use where
extended drain intervals are desired and in severe duty
operations where temperature extremes are encountered.
Because they are light-bodied and possess very
good cold-temperature properties, AWF and AWG are the
preferred choices for temperatures below -20°F.
Some applications include machine tools and presses, mobile construction equipment, farming equipment, logging trucks, boom trucks and plastic injection molding machines. The appropriate viscosity grades of AW Oils are also suitable for use in pneumatic tools and spindles.
AMSOIL AW Series Oils are compatible with hydraulic system seals, petroleum hydraulic oils and most synthetic hydraulic oils*. For optimum performance, it is recommended the system be thoroughly drained and, if warranted, cleaned prior to installation. Oil analysis is recommended to maximize oil drain intervals.
* Not compatible with phosphate ester or silicone fluids.
