Amsoil Synthetic Motor Oils for Yamaha ATVs

My wife, Teresa, and I love to go four-wheeler riding.  For a while we would ride double on my Honda Recon, but that wasnt very comfortable.  Back in 2009 I started looking at ATVs for Teresa.  I am a Honda man, but they dont always offer all the features I want, because it usually takes them so long to  offer them.  However, once they offer the features they have it figured out and it works well.   Anywho,  I wanted to get her an ATV with good suspension, automatic transmission and 4-wheel drive.  Didnt wnat to get her something too big, because she is a dare devil at times. 

I ended up getting her the Yamaha Grizzly 350.  It had all the features I was looking for and independent rear suspension.  It has plenty of power for her and I hear it is very easy to ride.  I don't get to ride it much other than loading and unloading.

We really enjoy riding.  We live in Arkansas and there are plenty of places to ride.  We have been to White Rock, Wolf Pen Gap, Sugar Creek, Mt Magazine and Mark Twain National forest.  Wolf Pen Gap is Teresa's favorite place to ride.  It is very smooth, well maintaned and we usually stay at Wolf Creek Springs.  They have cabins, RV hookups and camp sites for tents.  It is not too far from town and you can ride your 4-wheelers from the cabin to the trails.   Mena also has some very good restaurants.

I am still riding my 1998 Honda Recon, but hoping to upgrade to the Honda 500 with automatic transmission, fuel injection, power steering and a little more suspension.  Until then we try to take very good care of our ATVs so they will last.  We take them to the car wash after every ride and I change the oil and filter every year.  I give our 4 wheelers the best oil.  I use Amsoil Formula 4-Stroke Power Sports 0W-40 in both the Yamaha and Honda ATVs.  These 4 wheelers are tough, but I still want to take care of them so they last until we are ready to get new ones.  If you buy Amsoil products, be sure to sign up as a preferred customer and save some money.
